After Abe’s Amble — Shoreline Classic
Attn: Abe’s Army participants! The Shoreline Classic, a 15K Race held in Decatur on Sunday, September 20th, is a great way to continue on after a successful summer in Abe’s Army.
Informal group runs will be held:
- Saturday, August 29 (7.5 miles)
- September 5th (9 miles)
- September 12th (8 miles – for those not participating in the Havana Polka Run 5K).
Training doesn’t cost anything – no shirts, no groups, run at your own pace – routes and water provided, stick around and enjoy bagels and cofee, too! Stay tuned to www.abesarmy.blogspot.com for details. We’ll most likely carpool over on the day of the race, too. If you completed Abe’s Army and this is your first time running the Shoreline Classic, considering signing up for the Triple Crown Series (see Abe’s Army blog for specifics).

What a great group we had yesterday! Thanks, Mary, for leading these group runs. I never would have pushed myself that far running alone. Great weather, great company!! See you all next week!
