We will start with a 1-mile fun run at 8:00, then the kid's race will start at 8:30 to give runners to prepare for the 5k which begins at 9:00. After the 5k run, we will have lunch along with a mimosa bar from a local brewery, and then awards will follow.

Race highlights:: River Bottom Country Runs for St Jude returns for our 7th Annual race on June 1, 2024 @ 7:00AM It will feature a 5K, Half Marathon and two-person Half Marathon Relay that will test your strength and agility as you navigate central Illinois' finest farm country. These scenic runs start with a .25 mile hill and then flatten out for the remainder of the course. All races are out and back style ending downhill, making your last mile your fastest!

Packet Pick-Up is RACE DAY ONLY starting at 6am.
All proceeds will benefit the world renowned St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St Jude has increased childhood cancer survival rates from 20% to over 80% in 60 years while freely sharing its research and findings with hospitals around the globe. Families never receive a bill from St Jude, because all a family should ever need to worry about is helping their child live.

Race highlights:: Join us for a leisurely 1.5 mile walk on a flat surface around Eureka Lake or enter into one of our two challenging and competitive races.
Our race course is beautiful; going through the woodlands along Eureka Lake and through local subdivisions. Both 5K and 10K distances available. Course is mostly flat with a couple of significant hills ascending Eureka Lake dam.
We will have raffles, free pancake and sausage breakfast , along with a family-friendly post-race celebration!

Race highlights: Race back to the 19th century in the Hoopskirt and Haber-Dash. This is a 5K fun run where you can dress like you just stepped out of a haberdashery in hat and tie, or that you just made your debut in the biggest hoopskirt you can find!
The course is a mostly flat course in Abraham Lincoln’s Springfield, Illinois, through Enos Park neighborhood, north through Lincoln Park, and back down again.
Fun costuming is encouraged, with a prize for the best dressed of the bunch. After the run, stick around for historical activities. Dogs are welcome at the race (not inside the museum)! A race shirt and museum entry is included in the registration price. Medals will be awarded to winners.
Packet pick up will be at the Springfield Art Association (700 North 4th Street) the week of the race during regular business hours (9AM-5PM). Bibs belong to FastScore Timing Services, and will be handed out the day of the race.
