Details for 2024: Kick off the Illinois State Fair with us!
We can't wait to see you at the 2024 Illinois State Fair Parade Run. The 33nd annual Parade Run will be one you don't want to miss. Please join us as we return to the Fairgrounds for our 33nd year running!
This two mile course starts inside the Illinois State Fairgrounds and heads out the front gate along the parade route. Parade watchers line the route and cheer you on!
To GUARANTEE a shirt, you MUST register before the deadline of July 17th at 11:59 pm US/Central.
RACE PACKET PICKUP will be held on Wednesday, August 7 2024 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at the Springfield Running Center, 2943 West White Oaks Drive, Springfield, IL. You are welcome to have someone else pick up your packet for you if cannot make it to packet pickup. You must attend packet pickup on Wednesday, August 9 to receive a free admission ticket to enter the fairgrounds.
Limited RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP will be held at the fairgrounds in the Village of Cultures on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Please note participants attending race day packet pickup will be responsible for paying admission to enter the fairgrounds.
NOTES FOR VIRTUAL RACE PARTICIPANTS
- Run or walk your two miles wherever you choose!
- Beginning on race day you will be able to submit your time on this page (click on this year's results):

- By your name, click EDIT TIME.
- You can submit results for one week after the race date. Virtual participants will appear in the race results but are not eligible for age group awards.
Race packets for virtual participants will be available for pickup on August 7. However, there is also a shipping option available for a $10 fee for virtual participants. You may purchase this option during registration if you want your packet shipped by mail. Packets will be shipped AFTER the race. There is no shipping option for those participating in the live race.
Post-race refreshments and the awards ceremony follow the race in the Village of Culture.
