Abe's 50K Throw Down!
Springfield Road Runners Club is excited to present Abe's 50K Throw Down in 2019!
The rules are simple:
(#1) Be a club member by the first race, the Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon on April 6, 2019. The website is www.srrc.net/join if you haven't renewed yet.
(#2) Complete a club race of each distance in 2019: 2 miles, 10K, 10 miles, and half marathon.
What do we mean by "club" race? The SRRC hosts FIVE races every year. While we have many other races on our race schedule, these are the races that are completely operated by our running club:
Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon (April 6th)
Women's Distance Festival 2 miler (July 13)
State Fair Parade Run 2 miler (August 8)
Abe's Amble 10K (August 18)
Frostbite Festival 10 miler (December 8)
Women get their choice of which two-miler they'd like to do--or they can do both! When these races are done, you will have completed 50K of SRRC racing and get a SWEET finisher's medal for your efforts!
